Happy Birthday Dear Egg Plant

Here we have Kate singing happy birthday to her little plant-lets, which are growing from the inside of an egg. I guess they are seedlings of some sort.  Our friend Nita passed the egg along to us and I have no idea what they will grow into or whether they will make it past an inch because there are so many seedlings fighting for space inside of the egg, which is filled with some sort of foam and soil mixture that is supposedly eco-friendly.

So I guess we will grow them until we kill them or until they take over her bedroom. Then we won’t be singing happy birthday to them anymore. We’ll be calling an exterminator.
